ST. ALI - GREEN KOREAN SENCHA
Sencha is synonymous with Japan, but other countries like Korea are beginning to develop their own blends. This is the best we’ve found so far. With a deep jade green, this tea has an impressive depth of colour. It’s got a little fruity bounce to counteract that grassy bitterness, and all the smoothness and complexity you’d expect from an A-Grade cup of Sencha. Stacked with antioxidants and polyphenols, this tea can help boost your metabolism, lower blood pressure, and reduce cholesterol. Origin: South Korea Grade: Premium Ingredients: Certified organic green tea Serving suggestion: Add 1 teaspoon and brew in 72-85ºC water for 1 minute. Use a Japanese kyusu teapot for best results.
Sencha is synonymous with Japan, but other countries like Korea are beginning to develop their own blends. This is the best we’ve found so far. ST. ALI - PEPPERMINT TEA
Peppermint (or mentha piperita, as it’s known) sits somewhere between watermint and spearmint on the ‘minty scale’. It’s been used as a herbal infusion in Europe and Asia for thousands of years. Partly that’s down to the refreshing menthol aroma, but peppermint leaves are also thought to be very beneficial. They can ease digestion, relieve tension headaches and migraines, bust through clogged sinuses, and even boost your energy. Some people like to sweeten their peppermint tea with honey, but it’s delicious as a stand-alone tisane, tickling the palate and nourishing the soul. Serve steaming hot with a good book and a sunny window. Origin: Turkey Grade: Premium Ingredients: Peppermint leaf Serving suggestion: Add 1-2 teaspoons and brew in 90-95°C water for five to ten minutes, depending on preference.
Peppermint (or mentha piperita, as it’s known) sits somewhere between watermint and spearmint on the ‘minty scale’.
