Starting off worse for wear, with no road access or electricity, they wasted no time building their empire and producing spectacular specialty coffee. This lot is very fresh and bright with aromatic citrus, balanced by an intense jersey caramel sweetness. We have tasted several lots from the Sagastume family in recent years, and have been consistently impressed. It's been selectively harvested, fermented and dried for 10 days to create a stunning, fruity coffee. It has a dense strength and malic acidity that brings forward notes of strawberries and cream.
